We're glad you found us on the web. Asbury is a community of faith creating disciples for Jesus Christ.  We offer many opportunities to worship including both traditional and blended Sunday services.  We hope the following will help you find the information about Asbury that you are looking for.  However, if you still have questions, please don't hesitate to call us at 205-995-1700. We look forward to getting to know you.

What time are Sunday morning worship services?
8:30 & 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. 9:45 in the Christian Life Center.

Is a nursery provided for all of the worship services?
Yes.  A nursery is provided for both worship services and Sunday school for infants through 3 year olds.  Children ages 4 and 5 will stay with their parents in the worship service until dismissed for Children's Church.

Where do I park and enter the church?
For your first visit, it's best to enter through the main entrance.  There are plenty of "First Time Visitor" parking spaces there.  As you enter the church, you will find greeters at the front door to assist you in finding your way around.

What should I wear?
At Asbury, we are more interested in having you here than we are in what you are wearing.  In our congregation, you will find varying styles of attire-from dressed up to jeans-and most commonly, somewhere in between.  Please wear whatever you are most comfortable in and know that you are always welcome!

Can I visit the church before coming on Sunday morning?
Absolutely!  Feel free to call the church office at 995-1700, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM to arrange for a visit.  You're welcome to just stop by during office hours, however, it's best to call first.

Do you have accommodations for the handicapped?
Yes!  We have plenty of parking spaces right up front for the handicapped.  There are no stairs leading into the main entrance of the church, into the Sanctuary, or to the Christian Life Center. Both worship areas have plenty of room to accomodate wheelchairs.  There is a wheelchair, a walker and two pairs of crutches available to those who need to use them.  We also have an elevator to transport you to the downstairs Sunday School rooms.  In our worship services, we provide large print hymnals and aids for hearing.  Those who are unable to come to the front of the Sanctuary or Christian Life Center on Communion Sundays are served in their seats by the Communion Servers.
